Where would you sit? How to Let Go and Live Life In the Front Row

live, life, laugh, fun, exciting, laughter, excitement, rides, women,

Where are you seated on this roller coaster ride known as life?
Do you often throw your hands up and squeal and live life to the fullest?

Or do you complacently sit around, with out much outward expression?  Do you hold yourself back from taking a moment to enjoy the little things in life?  Are you closed with your emotions?  Are you more reserved?

If you prefer the back row, why not take a ride in the front seat for a change?

Give it a go!

You won’t regret it, I promise.

If you want to but aren’t quite sure how to let go keep an eye out for my How to Let Go and Live Life In the Front Row Blog series soon to Premiere.

Where ever you may decide to sit, we’re all together on this ride, called life.

Please leave a comment in the comment section of this post so I can keep you updated to the first segment of this series.
Thanks!

Love your Mug

Pinterest Success and Failures

Have you ever tried anything from Pinterest, a craft or a recipe?  I’ve tried many different things and half of the things worked out wonderfully and the other half, not so much.

Here’s an example.

For Eden’s 7th birthday we had a winter wonderland P.J birthday party (her birthday is in Dec.)

Some of the ideas worked our quite nicely like these full sized chocolate bars wrapped and decorated to look like snow men.

Look What my Lovely Sister in Law made From my Yard!

strawberry cake, rhubarb, juice, sauce, jamStrawberry Rhubarb Cake, Strawberry Rhubarb Fruit salad, Strawberry Rhubarb Fruit Compte, Juice and soon to be jam!

If there is one woman in my life that I would have to choose that inspires me it would hands down be my sister in law Viv.  She has such a big heart and she is so giving to the community and the youth in our area.

She is also fantastic in the kitchen and can decorate a room in no time.  She makes every event special.  She takes the time and care to not only make a room and the food presentation look beautiful she always leaves behind a little special touch of herself. Continue reading

Summer Solstice is upon Us! Let’s have a Drink to Celebrate Summer

Image

So my friend Sebastian J. Mehenka created this lovely drink that I thought I might share with you all to cheers in the first day of the summer.

His Mother thinks it should be called ‘Sapphire Somersby’.

Sebastian thinks it should be called ‘Ocean’.

I think it should be called ‘Somersby’s Summer Solstice’  Continue reading

From my Grill to yours

A little bit of food goes a long way… well not in my house but it sounded good to say!

There’s just something about BBQ’s.  It’s so nice to be surrounded by friends and family in the out doors sharing some fabulous food.

While I like to eat healthy and ensure that my children get their fill of healthy and nutritional foods we also love to enjoy the many foods that are available to us.  A good example of this is bacon.  I love me some bacon. I could have bacon with everything.  Things wrapped in bacon, bacon bits, cooked in bacon grease.

In a close second comes prosciutto, the thin, salty Italian deli meat. Continue reading

Root Beer or Beer, whichever Dad prefers, Father’s Day Gift Ideas

Well, Father’s Day is slowly approaching us.  The day my Mr. gets to sleep in until all hours of the day and have a day all about him.  He deserves it!

I have a great idea (well, I think it’s great) for a Father’s Day gift at the end of this post.

My Mr. is such a fantastic Father.  He is loving and patient, attentive and invested.  His children are his priority and I find that oh, so sexy.  Nothing like a man with kids hanging off him (preferably your own) to make your heart swoon.

Here is Alex with our teen girls, they attacked him with water (I orchestrated it…mwhahha) but it back fired when they all took aim on me (who cried, no no I have my phone…it didn’t work)

It’s a Girl and Golf

It’s a great morning.

I had a very nice much needed date night with Mr. last night. Shopping, dinner and drinks with an open mic. with great performances, we really enjoyed it!

We arrived home after unloading our weekly $300 grocery and then some for extra milk, bread, snacks etc.  You should see the cashiers stare at our double carts…it’s too funny.  Continue reading
